Overview

Return ("the App") is developed by Opifex Software. We believe your personal data belongs to you and no one else. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data remains on your device.

Autonomy scores, notes, tags, and moods are stored locally using CoreData.
Notes are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with keys stored in the iOS Keychain.
If you enable iCloud Sync, data is stored in your personal iCloud account — we have no access to it.

Apple HealthKit

The App requests read-only access to the following HealthKit data types:

Steps, sleep analysis, heart rate variability (HRV)
Resting heart rate, active energy, walking/running distance

This data is used solely to compute on-device health correlations and autonomy predictions. Health data is never written, shared, or transmitted off your device.

Analytics & Tracking

Return contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, and no ad frameworks. We do not track your usage in any way.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data.

Data Export & Deletion

You can export all your data as CSV or JSON from Settings at any time. You can also delete all data permanently from Settings.

Children's Privacy

Return is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated date.
